At the heart of Legend Inclusive Training is Martin Kelly.

Born in the north of England in the 1970s (he won't tell us exactly which year), he moved to the Wiltshire town of Swindon in 2003, bringing his unique style of interacting and supporting people with various health, mental health and neurodiverse conditions with him.  He has been especially successful in training and mentoring young people who didn't thrive at school and directing them to fulfilled lives through assisting them to gain qualifications and employment.

After working for various organisations supporting people, in 2015 he started his own organisation, a social enterprise  called Disability Experts CIC.  Between 2015 and 2023, this organisation reached a 97% success rate with his learners and mentees, particularly following the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020-21 where so many young people were unable to access the support they needed.  He just naturally has a way of speaking with people who really need help but don't know how to ask for it and feel let down.

Due to a change in his personal circumstances he closed Disability Experts CIC in 2023 to spend more time at home with his family, however his unique set of skills (to quote Liam Neeson) are still very much in demand so in early 2024 he launched Legend Inclusive Training, doing very much as he had done before but in a different format, via home tutoring, online tutoring and filmed lessons, to support learners who are anxious about meeting new people.

Martin's aim remains to give people who need it, the chance to build a brighter future for themselves.
